Day 2 Saturday 13th of August
Early in the morning and the wind is blowing like crazy but who cares, we just hit the road and take it as it comes!

Went downstairs and found our sleeping doorman/receptionist/watchman snoring like a I don’t know what, he gave a shock when I first heard him since I was looking for a large dog.
Got to the kitchen to make my own coffee and on the cup there was a spider egg. It seems that breakfast was served ha ha ha.
We left the pansion and Y remembered that he took the room key with him but no returning was allowed that day and the guy just had to wait until we came back.

After a few km there was no wind not even a breeze and humidity just hit us so continued another 200 km and stopped for petrol and a breakfast with shis kebab.

That was one of the cheapest we had since all 3 eat and paid 20TL (divide by 2.4 for Euro).

Y’s sole is travelling with us all the way!

Continue our trip and needed to stop for a jacket since the temperature fell to 19c where we took some photos of the nice scenery.

The bike at some points seemed to have a flat tyre but it was only the road making the bike feel like that. Y’s filter nose came out of its place after the drop it had on the ship so later we put it back in place and was back to normal again.

Petrol again and we are informed of a monastery that we visited.

It was a Christian monastery that was carved in the rock with houses all around on the outside with plenty of entrances.
Tunnels, holes on the ground, wall icons made this our first pleasant surprise of the day.

We continue again to Nevsehir and see another ancient city that we would visit later on our way to the underground cities.

Before entering the city we see a castle on the top of the mountain so we start locating the road only to find our selfs in some very bad uphill roads among poor people and kids jumping in front of us shouting “money money”, what a nighmare to get up there without hitting a kid or falling off the bike.

We reached the top and the castle, took some photos and decided to go back down and search for a hotel.

We found a 2 star but very good hotel of seven brothers where they moved tables and chairs from the balcony and we parked our bikes safely.

Relaxing in the hotel we decide to take a walk in town and told the reception to book us 2 seats for a balloon flight (€100 each). Our friend A had to leave the next morning and continue his long trip to Croatia where his family was waiting.

This is how you stop vehicles from entering a one way!
